How to read the scores

Every place is rated out of 7. The scale is intentionally narrow so it forces a real opinion.

  • 6.0+ — a destination. I'd change my route for it.
  • 5.0–5.9 — strong. I'd happily bring a friend.
  • 4.0–4.9 — solid. I'd go back without hesitation.
  • 3.0–3.9 — fine. Dependable if it's nearby.
  • below 3.0 — not my move.

The Coffee Cake tab is the full coffee-shop database — every shop I've rated, ranked. All Recommendations shows the same coffee shops alongside the food, bakeries, bars, and travel picks I'm adding over time.
