Privacy Policy
Effective August 23, 2026
Gather Again is designed to help invited small groups coordinate recurring in-person gatherings. We collect only the information needed to provide and improve that service.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your email address and display name; organization and circle membership; availability responses; gathering details; attendance and “again” responses; support messages; and limited technical and product-usage information.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, operate circles and gatherings, send requested service messages, protect the service, provide organization-level reporting, support users, and understand whether groups successfully meet again. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.
Sharing
Your name, circle membership, availability, assigned role, and attendance may be visible to other members or authorized operators of your circle. We use service providers for hosting, database operations, transactional email, and aggregate product analytics. They may process information only to provide those services.
Retention and deletion
You can initiate account deletion in the iOS app or request it through support. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data unless retention is required by law, security, or an unresolved transaction. De-identified aggregate counts may remain.
Your choices
You may decline Calendar and notification permissions without losing core access. You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing gbarb18@gmail.com.
Children
Gather Again is not directed to children under 13. Initial launch access is intended for adults and organizations serving adult groups.
Security and contact
We use encrypted connections, hashed login codes and session tokens, least-privilege access, and operational monitoring. No method is perfectly secure. Privacy questions can be sent to gbarb18@gmail.com.
